here’s a question Nubles was the subbed opening supposed to start on episode 11 the 8 bit 720 version has no subed lyrics to the song
Nope, didn’t get the Kara till ep 13 so it wasn’t, but when i start on the batches Volume 1,2,3 and 4 all shall have op Kara and i’ll try and get ending kara to.
Karaoke really is unnecessary, it only distracts the viewer from a beautiful Opening & Ending. 😦
Well, subs can be disabled so I guess it’s ok.
Was requested by over 80 people, but if you want i can make 2 sub streams in future, one with Kara and one without?
Nope, it’s ok. Just have to tap “s” to disable the subs in the op/ed, I’m already used to it.

When is 1080p expected to be done and uploaded?
Over this week, 480p is done and ready to be uploaded, 1080p’s take a lil longer to encode, so i’ll try to get a couple out in the next couple of days.

I’ll be batching the episodes into their corresponding volumes, with fresh encodes, and scripts re-done, as my early work was just me finding my feet with subbing and is sub par work. I will try to get some of these out soon.

The karaoke is hideous, unnecessary *and* slows things to an unwatchable crawl on my pc that otherwise handles every 1080p encode you’ve done so far perfectly.
If you won’t get rid of it, could you at least release your scripts with it removed so those of us who don’t want that junk can remux our copies so they match episodes 1-10?
First of all i only added the Karaoke as it was requested by over 80 people (personally messaging me), so please don’t think i added it just cause i felt like.
If you look at the previous post ‘Volume 4 UPDATE’ it says i will be releasing all the episodes again, re-encoded with better settings and revised scripts, as my first 4 episodes were ‘an attempt’ lol, anyway getting back on subject; with the Volume releases i shall include 2 sub tracks, 1 with karaoke; and 1 without. I hope this suffices.
P.S. if the Karaoke slows you’re computer down you need to install http://code.google.com/p/xy-vsfilter/ there are plenty of guides online for how to install it properly, this will help for future releases by other people, and also reduce the load on your CPU as it is a more efficient decoder.

ok am i losing my mind or did this show have dual audio before, i remember hitting A SS to switch to eng and turn subs off but its doesn’t work now….. god i must be losing my mind, to much anime melting my brain.
Thanks for the 480p subs! Quick question, episode 12 seems to render differently from the others and the subtitles appear aliased or something, is this intentional, some fluke, or just my imagination?
I had a look, and it seems to be the same as all the other episodes, nothing that sticks out as far as i can see.
This is just a minor complaint, but I’ve noticed that you keep referring to the XO as “X0” in the subs. XO is short for Executive Officer, so it wouldn’t be a 0, it would be a O.
Besides that everything is great, thanks so much for releasing this. Me and a friend and watching this together and loving it!

Just wondering if there might be a way to release smaller files? 400+ MB per episode seems a bit much for me.
If you can’t download large file sizes, then download the 480ps. There is a lot of action, CGI and other things that require a lot of bitrate, equaling a big file size.
Are you going to make a Hi444p version of the batch? It’d be a nice gimmick. Additionally on the topic of kara I have the following to say:
For the pro camp, kara is a “nice addition” and the lack of kara is a small letdown; the contra camp on the other hand considers kara disturbing, lagging, or a combination of the two, and finds having to switch every episode an inconvenience. You’re more likely to annoy the contra camp by putting kara on the primary track than the pro camp by not doing it. Add to that that the principal purpose of any OP/ED is to enjoy the song and animation–not singing to it–and how most if not all kara lack a sense of professionalism, I recommend that the sub track with kara is set as the second track. This way those of us who just want to watch the show with a minimum of frills can get on with it and those who want to sing along and embarras themselves when a family member walks in can do so after just pressing the S button. Additionally, observe how it’s not 2009 anymore and we should strive to leave that awkward chapter in fansubbing (of gaudy (hardsubbed) kara) as far behind us as possible.

Yes, no other episodes have been released yet, Volume 5 which includes episodes 15-18 is released on the 28th May. so once that is available i can release more episodes.
